Climate Change and Environment

Climate change and environment has been an important area of work for Econ Pöyry since 1992

Within this field, our focus has been on four key areas:

  • Climate change policies, strategies and negotiations at business, national regional and world level.
  • The flexible project mechanisms, CDM & JI, with focus on strategic advice, capacity building and project development.
  • Emissions trading, analysing policy issues and consequences for European actors.
  • Environmental policy analysis, including cost-benefit analyses, impact analyses, and evaluations.
