Econ Pöyry endeavours to offer a strong and sustainable professional domain, coupling practical and theoretical knowledge profiles. Research, consulting and analysis constitute the three main pillars for an undertaking intended to be mutually productive and reinforcing.

 

We carry out research, consulting and analysis within frameworks determined in co-operation with clients. This dialogue refers mainly to problem statements, process, priorities and resources. High standards are set with regards to academic quality, independence and integrity, and the work is carried out collectively rather than individually.

Although a large proportion of our assignments are Scandinavian, many are set in a broader international context. We have been extensively involved in research and consulting related to energy and environment in China for years. Lately we have also been increasingly involved in developing countries and in Central and Eastern Europe. 

Econ Pöyry has offices in Oslo and Stavanger, and employs approx. 80 people. The parent company Pöyry Plc has offices in 45 countries around the globe within the fields of Forest Industry, Energy and Infrastructure & Environment. Pöyry Plc has more than 7000 employees.
